These twelve words are known to all Scouts — recited aloud at the start of every Scout meeting and taught to each boy and girl as a goal for daily living. You can see and feel them in the actions and lives of those shaped by Scouting.
A donation to The Andrew Shaw Memorial Trust is an investment in Darien's youth, our community, and our future leaders.
The Andrew Shaw Memorial Trust has been supporting Scouting in Darien since 1926. Today, Darien Scouting includes eight units serving boys and girls from kindergarten through high school. Annual operating and programming costs exceed $180,000.
We receive no funds from Scouting America, the Community Fund, or the Town of Darien — and we have no paid staff. That means 100% of every donation goes directly to our programs and facilities.
